In September, Josh and Chuck from one of my favourite podcasts, came to the Enmore Theatre. They recorded a live show in front of a packed audience of Australian fans. Not too shabby for two guys who can go way off tangent very often. Stuff You Should Know (SYSK) is a powerhouse of the HowStuffWorks network, and give a few episodes a listen and you’ll know why. You can put on your earbuds, turn it on, and join your good friends Josh and Chuck for a fun conversation for your commute. Today, the Sydney Live Show episode hit the feed. This episode – The Kellogg Brothers’ Wacky World of Health – does have a few squeamish moments for me, but is a very interesting look at the history of cereal, health and religion in turn of the century America. Plus, they brought the WayBack Machine all the way to Australia. More into history? Give Stuff You Missed in History Class a go. And when Tracy and Holly decide to follow in Josh and Chuck’s footsteps to Australia, you know I’ll be there to see them live too! More into Wacky History? If Tracy and Holly are too mainstream, check out Ridiculous History! Ben and Noel cover the history topics that are off the wall weird, and I can’t wait until they start doing live shows in Australia. I recommend you give all three a try; great hosts and interesting topics.
