We’ll be doing LMS Training using Moodle™ in the three east coast capitals – Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. And there’s plenty of space still open!
Sydney training is scheduled for June 26th to 28th, with Course Creator being the Monday and Tuesday, and LMS Manager for the Wednesday. There’s a discount if you book all three, drop Pukunui a line if you’re interested.
Melbourne training is scheduled for July 10th to 12th. Again Course Creator is Monday and Tuesday, and LMS Manager is on the Wednesday. Of course, we’ll give you a good price if you want to do all three.
We also now have dates for Brisbane in August. August 7th and 8th (Monday and Tuesday) will be Course Creator and Wednesday the 9th will be LMS Manager.
And of course, in addition to giving discounts to people who attend all three days, we also give a 10% discount if three or more from the same organisation sign up. It’s a great deal if you want to train your whole team.
I really love getting out and meeting new Moodlers, and especially I love to connect with Pukunui clients. It’s a lot of fun, I love showing people all the things they can do when creating a course. Moodle is really so powerful, it’s great seeing people have those inspirational moments. And I have to admit, I always seem to learn things too from these training sessions. Some of our clients have great ideas, they just might need a little help. It’s always a fun cooperative environment at my training sessions. So I hope to see you in one of these three cities this winter.

And while I’m at it, I should mention that I also run WordPress Training for the Parramatta College. WordPress is my first great love; obviously I’m using WordPress for this blog. I’ve been using WordPress for longer than I’d like to admit, and I actually got started with Moodle by using our TAFE Moodle to teach WordPress. It comes around full circle.
The Parramatta College courses are fantastic, they’re run out of the Western Sydney Skills Hub in Parramatta. It’s a great location. The course is run over two Saturdays – the 17th and 24th of June. It’s aimed at small business owners, and I’ve met some interesting people over the years while running the course.
We take a look at the full gambit; the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, how to buy a domain, what is WooCommerce, how to protect your site, what is SEO, how to find good hosting and much more.
