Scott at MoodleMoot Australia 2015

In July, I was invited to speak at MoodleMoot Australia 2015 on Moodle and the Internet of Things. MoodleHQ has posted the video to their YouTube Channel, along with some other great videos from the conference. Yes, I was incredibly nervous to speak to that big a room. The audience itself was 500 people, which is big but not gigantic. But the room itself was a large theatre. I found that very unnerving. I have trouble watching this without cringing at my own nervousness. Please, watch it, and feel free to comment (constructively). The whole point of this presentation was to create a dialogue, to start a conversation. I want to have this conversation everywhere and start inspiring people to build that new elearning infrastructure now!

Speaking of speaking…

So you missed me at MoodleMoot Australia? Or you can’t get enough of me? Or you think I’m a fool and want to argue with me? Hey good news, you’ll have another chance! I’m speaking at three more conferences this spring:
  • MoodlePosium in Canberra, October 8th & 9th.
  • OSDC in Hobart, October 27th – 29th.
  • BuzzConf in Ballan, Victoria, November 13th – 16th.
All three I’m very excited for. BuzzConf in particular sounds interesting! I’ve seen it described as a Techno-Burning Man.
